We acknowledge the LAND, WATERWAYS & SKY and traditional CUSTODIANS of the land on which we exist and across all lands, their descendants and loved ones.
With gratitude and reverence, we walk, sing, grow, love & create together for country & for people.
Meet tessa
Tessa Bobir is a skilled doula with diverse methodologies. Her passion lies in supporting both young women transitioning from childhood to young adulthood, as well as women transitioning from womanhood to motherhood.

With over 10 years’ experience, Tessa has worked – and continues to work – as a Doula (pregnancy support person), Womb & Fertility Massage Therapist, Peri-Steam Hydrotherapist, Peer Support Worker, and Youth Worker. She provides emotional and physical education and support in the areas of menstruation, birth, motherhood, and self-care.

"It is my intention to provide a safe space for each client and participant to unpack their feelings, hopes, fears, and dreams, to be brought to a place of relaxation and deep rest in order to gather their thoughts. Upon leaving their session, I hope they feel more centred, focused, and rejuvenated to create the life they so desire."
As a young Aboriginal mother herself, Tessa understands the importance of forming a solid foundation of love, security, and informed knowledge for young women and growing families.

Tessa has created a 12-week program for young women aged 11 and older to gather, learn, and practise the importance of self-care, respecting oneself, others, and the wider community. She hopes to take this program into communities across Australia.

"My learning journey as a woman and mother, and my passion for better understanding my own cycle and maintaining a healthy way of life for my children and me, stems from the importance of the often-overlooked Indigenous way of being – holistic living. Holistic means to consider how all things are connected.
If I want to see Mother Earth cared for, then I am to care for her, thus setting an example for my children. I teach them that all is connected, that how we behave creates a ripple effect, and that we have a choice. We can only learn from and improve ourselves – and therefore our relationships and overall life – by learning from our mistakes."

My work as a Massage Therapist, Yoni Steam Facilitator, Doula, and Women’s Circle Facilitator cannot take place without consideration of the whole person – their mental, physical, and emotional health: mind, body, and spirit.
I believe each client or participant I encounter is the expert of their own life.
I look forward to supporting you – whether it be through physical touch, being a safe sounding board for you to remember your own power, or both!
