What?
Steaming is an ancient tool that has been used cross culturally for thousands of years.
Ayurvedic practices, Indigenous communities across the glober including but not limited to Africa, Australia, America and China.
* Yoni Steaming is also reffered to as vaginal steaming, womb steaming, womb smoking and peri-steam hydrotherapy.
Who?
This practice has been known to be used by all genders, And due to anti racism and accesibility ont he internet Steaming is making a bold come back, with steamign benig used particulary for men in China and known as Fumigation, and more and more Midwive, Birth attendants, Families and even Gynocoloists offering this incredible healing practice.
Why?
From personally experiencing the benefits of Yoni Steaming when I first discovered the practice, to now consistently receiving incredible feedback on the relief and regularity that steaming brings to YHA community!

How?
Yoni Steaming* uses heated water infused with fresh or dried herbs
Steaming is anecdotally believed to:

Create a deeper connection to one's reproductive system and menstrual cycle, thus further supporting Reproductive Justice, and Fertility/ Conception,

Minimize and soothe scar tissue (from tears, grazes and episiotomies during childbirth and from FGM),
- Encourage the return of absent menses,
- Shorten Long cycles,
